guns and glue

The stupid bastard from whom i purchased my gun from decided he would super glue the barrel nut down...any suggestions as to how to get it off??? I have already tried acetone and that did not help and a hair dryer does not get hot enough

Are you against destructive measures to remove it?

I had a free float rail that fused itself to the receiver and I could not get it off. Just as you, I tried different chemical compounds like you did, as well as force. When that didn't work, I used a dremel to slice the delta ring in half.
Every problem can be solved through the proper application of explosives, duct tape, teflon, WD-40, or any combo of the aforementioned items.

I'd suggest removing all the plastic parts from the receiver and burn it with fire.
