Zander's Photos - Updated Page 4
« on: April 30, 2011, 07:25:14 pm »
Finally received some small parts for my Marine inspired kit.  Obviously I am not going for any Marine Unit SOP, just a loosely based Marine kit modified to my preferences.  Let me know what you think!

Some new patches.  Pretty awesome I think.

Michigan State Flag

Chicago City Flag

The head wrap is actually very cool in the summer, keeps all of you sweat against the body.

FLYYE PACA & Chest Rig

Crye Precision Gun Clip.  I'm liking it so far, no wobble at all, releases easily, more fluid once your used to it than a Serpa.

Surefire M961 w/ TNVC TX4 LED Head (600 Lumens)

I really want a collapsible stock for the MP5 and still need to pick up a T1.  Rail platform is reversed for my Contour GPS.

Next project is going to be a Noveske CQBR once I determine what I'm going to use for the power plant.

How's the electrical efficiency? Are batteries actually lasting a decent amount of time now?

I've been waiting for the new Celcius guns to come out in hopes the fix all the problems they had with their previous generations.

Not a necro post you forum kidos.

MX2 Celcius' are very nice. You're gun looks beautiful, but as Kilo said, the ACOG really does have a lot going on. Keep it simple!

No.  I'm sure your talking about the U.S. Marines tape?  It is perfectly ok to display as a civilian.

I strongly disagree. You did not earn the title of United States Marine. You don't wear a police badge if you are not a cop.

It's a nametape dude. You can buy them for 5$. If they weren't meant to be worn, why are they widely available? For re-enactment purposes. He's not going around telling people he is a Marine, he clearly stated he wasn't. I suppose that means every kid at the field with an old Army BDU set is in the Army? Its a costume.
