Where do you buy from?
« on: January 21, 2012, 03:05:41 am »
Just wondering where you get your equipment and uniforms from? I'm just afraid of being swindled, as I have been in the past, and would like some real experiences, thanks.

I've mainly purchased gear and such off the internet, namely on forums... I've had very good success with quite a few of the reputable sellers on here.
Personally? I would use your spelling gun with the common sense magazines.

If you're fine using reproduction gear, www.atthefront.com/ is pretty good. Not the cheapest option, but their high quality.

Gavin Militaria has some really decent stuff at good prices. What kind of impression are you working on?

Atthefront is a great site as mentioned above. Also ebay sellers just look close at quality. Ww2airsoft associations forums are great too

Thanks for all the responses. And I'm going with reproduction, because I could never bring myself to wear something authentic into the field. Right now I'm going for American infantryman from the Italian campaign/Normandy campaign, and looking into Russian infantry next.

Nice, At the Front has great, museum quality repros but they are pretty pricey. As suggested above try http://ww2aa.proboards.com/, the wwII airsoft forum. There are frequently people selling entire kits and a lot of people that can steer you in the right direction for anything WWII related.

Evike doesn't sell WWII gear as far as I know.
May your BMP flood at the first river crossing. May your chutes not open over the fertile plains of Germany. May all of your Submarines be issued with screen doors.

They certainly carry WWII era weapons, but as far as gear and uniforms go I have never known them to stock anything like that.
