does the guarder hop up bucking fit in the kwa m4
« on: June 14, 2008, 07:33:03 pm »
i've heard alot about the kwa m4 not accepting some hop up barrel combos
i would like to know if an guarder enhanced on a dbc 6.01 would work
i know we've been over the whole 6.01 thing but i never heard of it ever jamming if good bb's are used (are tsd .28's good)
PTW's are just like Ferraris. Look great, cost tons of money, and can be completely dominated by things half the price

I wish I could afford BF3. I buy groceries and illegal slave-children instead.

i couldn't tell you about the guarder bucking but if your going to use a 6.01 in a full auto gun, and judging that your going with a KWA i'm willing to bet your thinking about a lipo bat, then you had better stick with bb's like Systema, Excel, or Toy-Tec.  Anything else and your asking for trouble.

'll be using exels most the time but using .28 for longer shots
no lipo and elite 9.6 or 10.8

You're building a gun for a high ROF.

You do NOT want a 6.01 barrel in anything other than a semiauto-only DMR.

Now, using Excels and a 6.03mm stainless barrel, I ocasionally have jamming issues.

By the way, TSD .28's are good, but they WILL jam a 6.01 barrel in an assault weapon because they're sized to 5.98mm bore. 0.03mm is a margin small enough that you now have a gun that will only fire properly at or above 75 degrees, and only in low humidity.

It seems to me like you're trying to build your gun to do everything at once from sniper work to CQB. It really doesn't work right like that.

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
