Welcome aboard! The pinned topics in this section of the forum are a great place to start reading.  Then the bare basics you need to play airsoft with are a working gun, eye protection, good boots, and some bb's.   After that the hoarding can start :)

Welcome, I would say some of the best things to to is to just go out there to walk on games and ask veteran players "hey, what I should do when _____ happens". Then hangout with that player on the field if he or she is willing to take you under their wings for a round or two(maybe even the whole day) and they will help you understand what is the do and don'ts in each situation. ______something ells you should do after getting a little bit of experience under your belt is to join a local team that is serious enough to do some training but doesn't have restrictions like crazy.

Tip: ALWAYS keep your airsoft gun in a gun bag(or the box it came in but try to get a gun bag/case) and only take it out when out at the field or in your home to clean it. Even then keep the blinds closed for the sake of the people next door.

Hope this helped.

I have a question for you, where are you located? Chicago, Springfield, ECT.
