Active braking helps prevents the motor from overspinning. Overspining from the motor means after a shot on semi the spring can be kept compressed. Or during semi you can experience more then one shot as if it was on full auto.

Besides extreme fire there is also www.awsairsoft.com. I highly recommend them. Their mosfets are good quality and at a good price. Check out the site, as of right now they are out of stock. But they will be back in stock real soon.
