People can camp if they want and people can brag about their "awesome ubber 1337 kill" if they want.  Lighting them up with 400 rounds in 5 seconds doesn't make you the better person.

What really determines the caliber and quality of an airsoft player isn't their gear, or guns, or what strategies and tactics they use.  Its how they react to adversity and the level of honor and maturity they show.

Chavez is completely right one this one. Personally I have to do tactics that are sneaky and legal in the game of airsoft because of my gear. My tactics do not bend the rules or break them so how is it my fault if you get mad because I shot you? All I have is a walmart shotgun and I don't understand why you people expect me to use typical strategy. In order to win I must use creative tactics.

I play like a sneaky bastard because I have to rely on my weapons' capabilities more than my own physical skills.

You're welcome to waste your entire squad's time doing nothing but surrounding me for a single short-term engagement. Not only do I get to pick half of them off before you get there, but once you've succeeded in finishing me off, you've wasted half an hour of your own time and your team's time making yourself look like a douche who needs eight players to take-out a single placement gunner. :D


Overkill is fine, but it really only makes you look cool when you do it entirely by yourself and it doesn't come off as a pissy vindictive move.

A sniper is not a gun - it is a person/profession/etc. What you children should be saying is sniper RIFLE.

I think your overthinking it, I think people say "thats a nice sniper" pointing at the gun there only saying it to shortin the workd almost like an acronym. Ya it pisses people off but i think its a quicker easier way to say it instead of having to listen to sniper rifle, sniper rifle over and over again. Its like CQB, who actually says Close Quarters Battle when the say it everytime. But again COD puts everything in little childrens heads so you could possibly be right with many people but i know many that still say "sniper" when clearly they know the difference.
