Yeah... most of the time, these ideas die. I hope he does open one, but I'm not counting on it. Unless he opens one soon or at least gets the ball rolling (gets necessary permits, purchases a building, begins to stock items) within the next month, he'll probably drop the idea.

Quality or not? So you'd play in a condemned building with homeless people sitting next to a campfire enjoying their Bush's Baked Beans while you're playing airsoft...?
 
I wouldn't. Always have to have some level of quality in an airsoft establishment  ;)

Ok. So I narrowed it down to three different buildings. I have to check with the city for zoning. Then we will be up and going soon. I will keep you all informed as I go.

Pick the one with lowest taxes and cost (you will be tearing it down and rebuilding internally anyway), watch out for taxes, make sure the town doesn't have any silly rules that would inhibit the games or the shop, make sure you have parking and you might want it close enough to stuff to find and be able to get food delivered, but not close enough that people might freak out over a bunch of people regularly showing up in tactical gear and weapons.
 
Those are my big concerns don't know if you alreday knew all that and already have it handled, but I'm throwing it out there. :)

I'm a head of you on that stuff. I've been looking at buildings with a showroom, at least two offices ( one for me and one as a staging area) and a warehouse, and the two that I now have narrowed it down to, have big parking lots. And they are both near restaurants.

i hope he does because the closest actual airsoft store is bling airsoft and thats a three hour drive i think
